Depending on your needs and budget, Van Hook Vintage provides two levels of service: Basic Rebuild or Show-Quality Restoration. Typical services are described below (details will vary with manufacturer).
All carburetors and parts are ultrasonically cleaned in a heated, biodegradable detergent. Ultrasonic cleaning is particularly effective at cleaning out internal passages that are otherwise inaccessible. When your carburetors are returned, they will be adjusted to the manufacturer's baseline specifications (throttle stop, fast idle, mixture, air bypass, float level and needle valve stroke, accelerator pump stroke, etc.). In most cases, the carburetors can be bolted on and only minor adjustments will be required to account for the condition of a particular engine.

As a one-person shop, every customer and every component receive individual attention. Van Hook Vintage is dedicated to providing courteous and prompt service with unsurpassed workmanship, at a reasonable price. Your rebuild is guaranteed one year for parts and labor. Our turnaround time is normally five to ten business days, but can be longer if parts require special ordering, and for Show-Quality Restoration. Please note that parts for some carburetors, particularly vintage Weber and Zenith, can be difficult to find. Van Hook Vintage is incorporated in rural upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania, but offers its services to drivers, collectors, and restoration shops wherever you are. We ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, ground or air express, according to your preference. If you would like additional information regarding our service, or for a quote, please contact Greg at 215 262-8547, or via the email link here (also found below). We invite our hearing-impaired customers to text-message us at the above number. |
